En Route Charts (ERC)

  • En Route Charts Australia (ERCA) are compiled and published by AsA.
  • En Route Chart International (ERCI) are compiled and published by RAAF AIS.
  • ERCs are designed to show significant air traffic route areas, controlled airspace, prohibited, restricted and danger areas, airways, air traffic and radio-navigation services. Each route is divided into segments, which include information relating to magnetic tracks, distances and route lowest safe altitudes, etc. Information published on these charts is supplemented by information contained in the relevant En Route Supplement.
  • Aeronautical information within terminal areas on ERCs may not be complete and operators should refer to TAC or VTC in these areas.
  • Refer to the Aeronautical Information Package Catalogue (CAT) for further information and editions available.
  • En Route Charts are published every 26 weeks. The production cycle dates are outlined in the Production Schedule.
  • Users may order individual ERCs if they do not have a need for the complete chart sets.
