NAVIGATION CHART (JNC) JNC satisfy enroute navigation requirements of aircraft capable of high-speed, high altitude, and long-range performance. The design characteristics of the JNCs satisfy radar navigation/bombing by strategic aircraft, celestial and visual navigation, preflight mission planning, operational planning, and intelligence briefings. The series of charts provides a base for special intelligence overprints required to support combat mission planning and for application of information overprints for precise in-flight long range navigation. JNCs are also used as source material in the preparation of projected map displays/navigational film strips essential to aerospace navigation of high performance weapon systems. Refer to the Aeronautical Information Package Catalogue (CAT) for further information and editions available. JNCs are also available through the auto-distribution system. Users may place standing orders for them so when a new edition is published, the user will automatically receive a replacement chart. Additional quantities are available throughout the life of the chart. |
