ORDERING INTERNATIONAL
TERMINAL APPROACH PROCEDURES
International terminal approach
procedures that are not published in TERMI and are
required for deployment can be ordered through RAAF
AIS. The following procedure should
be followed:
a.
All requests should be faxed or e-mailed to RAAF AIS, indicating
information requested, deadline for delivery and contact details.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT LOCATION INDICATORS BE INCLUDED AS PART OF THIS
INFORMATION.
b. This information should be provided as early as
feasible so that the workload at RAAF AIS can be managed as effectively
as possible.
c. The preferred method of transmission of requested
data is via mail/courier/email as significant degradation of the material
occurs during faxing. In addition, many fax machines cannot deal with
receiving several hundred pages over a relatively short time.
d. Requests must be co-ordinated through the squadron
AIO/PUBSO, so as to avoid multiple orders for tasks.
TERMI continues to be populated on the basis of highest
priority and usage airfields as requested by user units. Units are encouraged
to submit requests in order of priority for airfields they need included
in TERMI. Requests are to be staffed through the appropriate chain of
command.
