ORDERING PUBLICATIONS AND AMENDMENT SERVICES

Defence Publishing Service (DPS) (Intranet only) is responsible for the physical distribution of RAAF AIS product. DPS require RAAF AIS approval before distribution can proceed. New orders or changes to Unit (distribution) standing orders should be referred through Unit AIO/PUBSO, via either:

All orders submitted by mail or FAX should be via the Product Order Form located in the Aeronautical Information Order Booklet (AIOB). AIOB is available from RAAF AIS.

NOTE: Orders for aeronautical charts with a scale larger than 1:250 000 (such as 1:100 000 & 1:50 000) are to be placed through DIGO. JOG-Air (1:250 000) charts may be ordered through RAAF AIS, however JOG-Ground charts must be ordered through DIGO. Please check the RAAF AIS Catalogue for chart availability before placing chart orders.

FOREIGN AIP
RAAF AIS is not responsible for procuring or supplying Units with copies of Foreign AIP (such as New Zealand Planning Manual, IFG and VFG or Papua New Guinea Flight Supplement). If Units wish to use and maintain Foreign AIP it is their responsibility to do so. RAAF AIS can be contacted if Units with Foreign AIP have any queries (such as checking the currency of Foreign AIP).

RAAF AIS promulgate foreign AIP information via FIHI, GPI, ERCI, ERSI, and TERMI. Units can request additional information be added to ADF FLIP if they consider information from Foreign AIP is applicable to their operations.
